There has been some really interesting news for the IFPA & SLIMP 2019 meeting in the official website.

We previously announced that there was going to be several awards. Now we know that there will be awards based upon abstract or presentation for new investigators, with many awards on each category!
These awards aim to help the participation of new investigators in this or the next meeting.
Also, there will be recognition awards for investigators nominated by the community for their outstanding contributions to the field.
All conditions to participate and the prizes are available here.

Another important announce is the list of confirmed Speakers and Workshop, Symposia & Special Activities Organizers (available here). There a several renowned international speakers as well as many speakers from our society that have already confirmed their participation. We will publish the details of the activities soon.

IFPA & SLIMP 2019 LOCAL ORGANIZING COMMITTEE

As we already announced, IFPA and SLIMP 2019 will be held together. Now we can also confirm the location: it will be at the Universidad Católica Argentina in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Futher more, all Latin America based Senior, Mid-career and New Investigators will be able to apply for a half price reduction in the registration rate.

There will be numerous possibilities for free registration fellowships for New Investigators, based on the abstract ranking. More than twenty of these fellowships will be specific for Latin America based researchers!

We are also glad to announce that there will be special sessions and activities for New Investigators.

It is our pleasure to announce the International Federation of
Placenta Associations 2019 (IFPA2019) to be held jointly with the 8th
Latin American Symposium on Maternal-Fetal Interaction and Placenta
(VIII SLIMP) in the exciting city of Buenos Aires, Argentina from
September 10th to 13th 2019.
The meeting has been designed to provide a great opportunity to reach
an overview of the lastest research developments in placenta and
maternal-fetal interaction.
